QBANC TERMS AND CONDITIONS/RELEASE OF LIABILITY

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Liability Release

I hereby release the Qualicum Beach and Area Newcomers Club (“QBANC” or “the Club”) and its directors, officers, and volunteers, from any liability for injury, loss, or damage to personal property arising from participation in any QBANC activity, event, or function.  I understand and agree that my participation in any such activity, event or function is done exclusively at my own risk.  I accept full responsibility for my safety and welfare and agree not to make claims against QBANC and its directors, officers and volunteers for any such injury, loss or damage.

 

Alcohol Liability

QBANC’s insurance does not cover alcohol-related liability for events in members’ homes.  If I serve alcohol at a QBANC event in my home, I will oversee its responsible service and ensure I have proper liability coverage through my home or renter’s insurance.

 

Privacy Policy

QBANC collects and uses personal information only for Club business, such as membership processing, event registration, and communications. I agree to this use and will keep member information confidential, including not using it for sales, solicitation, or distribution to third parties.

 

Use of Images

Photos taken at QBANC events may be used on the Club’s website, social media, and newsletters. If I do not want my photo to be used, I will remove myself from photos. If I take photos at QBANC events, I will respect requests from members who do not want their images shared publicly.
