Cycling

 

Cycling: Weekly bike rides that focus on fun, exercise and comradery.  We explore various routes throughout our community for anywhere from one to three hours.  Rides have some elevation changes, on paved or hard packed local bike trails and quiet streets, and are fine for e-bikes or regular bikes with decent tires and some gears.  Participants are encouraged to lead a group ride once they are comfortable.  We generally try to stop for a social coffee or lunch.  Meeting location and ride description change weekly. We are also organizing some destination rides that include gulf islands, wine & cider tours, as well as trestle and rail trails, to enjoy great cycling outside of the oceanside area.  Registration is appreciated for each ride so we can plan for numbers and keep us all safe on the roads.
